Gwyn Pritchard: Intermezzo

Despite the usual meaning of the title ‘Intermezzo’ this piece was not composed to fit between other pieces.  It was written in 1992, in the ‘dead’ period between the two celebratory events of Christmas and New Year, when nothing else was happening in the composer’s life.  It was not composed for any specific performer or event, but simply as a diversion.
